There is no minimum deposit required.

Index-Linked Term Deposits

The beauty of these products is that they allow you to invest in stock markets without any risk to your principal. With no fees or commissions, your principal is guaranteed and you chose a fixed term of 3 or 5 years. Rate of return is calculated on the performance of the TSE or G7 countries. (Global Index-Linked Term Deposits are only available at specified periods of time).

Index-Linked Term Deposits may also be used as RRSP  contributions.
