Data Breach Within The Regional Health Authorities. Reddy Kilowatt Credit Union takes many precautions to protect your online banking environment and ensure your information is safe. It is always best practice to regularly change passwords and monitor account activity. Registering and activating Online Banking Alerts is another important step members can take to protect personal banking information. For additional security features, please click here.

Especially if you are concerned that you’ve been affected by the data breach within the Regional Health Authorities, we strongly recommend you taking these precautions; but we encourage all members to remain vigilant. Please report any suspicious account activity to us as soon as possible and we will work to mitigate any personal damages.  

The government’s press release outlines additional steps to take to protect yourself, including contact information for Equifax and TransUnion should a copy of your credit report be required.

Access to your debit card accidentally denied? This would be the result of a security feature enacted for your protection.  This inconvenience can be fixed, however, by visiting an ATM and making a transaction or inquiry with the correct PIN. If you don't know your PIN, then you will need to visit a branch during regular business hours to have your card unblocked and reset.

Protect Yourself From Fraud: Red flags to watch for include opportunities that are too good to be true, threats of arrest, aggressive tactics, unsolicited robocalls advising of a prize or legal trouble, requests for personal information and requests for payment in the form of gift cards, cryptocurrency or wire transfers.
